AccessTN provides comprehensive health insurance options for uninsurable Tennesseans. All participants in AccessTN will receive comprehensive health coverage similar to the benefits offered to state employees. Three different plans are available with varying deductibles and participants can select the plan that is best for their situation. Refer to the benefit plan for more information on covered services.

Participants in AccessTN will pay monthly premiums for their comprehensive health coverage. The premiums will be capped at no more than two times the standard market rate for a similar commercial health insurance plan. Refer to the premium tables for more information. Additionally, premium assistance is available to those individuals with a household income of up to 250% of the federal poverty level who enroll in Plan 1000.

$13 million dollars has been set aside to help low-income participants cover the cost of monthly premiums.
